January 2015

Here are a few of the books coming out this month! This list goes in order from left to right on the picture.

1.Fairest by Marissa Meyer: This is like a half book in the Lunar Chronicle Series. It is set between Cress and Winter, and is longer than a short story would be. Fairest will give us the history and the story of Queen Levana.

2. Firefight by Brandon Sanderson: This is the second book in Sanderson’s Reckoners series.

Release Date: January 6th

3. The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black: I haven’t read anything from Holly Black, but I have heard great things. Her new book is about a girl named Hazel that lives in this town where there are faeries. However, the faeries danger the humans in the town and Hazel needs to remember how to stop them.

5. All Fall Down by Ally Carter: This is the first book in Ally Carter’s new series Embassy Row. Her books have been amazing thus far, and this one seems like it is the same style. It deals with ambassadors, secrets, and all sorts of Ally Carter trouble.

6. All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven: All Violet wants is to graduate and move away from her small town. Theodore just wants to die. As Goodreads describes it, All the Bright places is a perfect mix of two bestsellers The Fault in our Stars and Eleanor & Park.

Release Date: January 6th

7. Never Never by Colleen Hoover: To be honest I couldn’t get much from the summary of this book, but it seems like it is like a sad romance novel. It is about two people that grew up and have been in love since they were fourteen.

Release Date: January 11th

8. The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall: This book seems very interesting and has the Circle which acts as a secret society. It is believed that Avery, the main character, is the one in an ancient prophet.

Release Date: January 13th

9. Playlist for the Dead by Michelle Falkoff: Hayden was dead. All he left for Sam was a suicide note and a playlist for him to listen to. It kind of reminds of 13 Reasons Why with the tapes, but this is also compared to the coming-of-age story Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Release Date: January 27th

Another heart-breaking story where a girl has to uncover the secrets of her best friend’s life and death after she killed herself. What she finds out about the person she thought she knew everything about is very shocking.

Release Date: January 27th
